Marque Service Fee Promise

A clear remedy when the service falls short.

Effective September 5, 2026 · Applies to Marque service fees, not an item’s purchase price.

Before examination begins

Cancel before a specialist begins work and Marque will return the authentication service fee. Shipping or protection charges already used or incurred are not refundable.

Unable to verify

If Marque requests the needed photographs and still concludes Unable to verify, the service fee or trade credit for that examination is returned. This does not apply when a client does not provide requested evidence.

Express timing

If Marque misses the 1–2 hour Express window during 9 AM–9 PM Eastern, the $10 Express surcharge is returned and the review continues as a Standard Photo Review.

Different conclusions

A Does not conform result is not refundable merely because the client disagrees. If a reputable independent authenticator reaches a conflicting conclusion, the client may request one free reconsideration with supporting evidence.

Changed result after deeper review

If deeper review changes Marque’s conclusion, Marque returns its authentication service fee and issues a corrected or replacement record. The previous record remains online with its changed status.

What is not covered

The promise does not reimburse the item’s purchase price, resale value, lost profit, taxes, marketplace fees, or consequential loss. It does not cover used shipping labels, insurance or shipping-protection charges, or losses outside Marque’s custody.
